Handmade cards....

Hi everyone,

I've been out of touch for over a month.
I took a break.
I didn't sew anything until this Saturday.
My mother-in-law needed to have some clothing adjusted.
So I helped her out with that.
But, I've been in a funk when it comes to quilting.
I've been in a funk period.
It's the winter blues I think.

I did take out some of my scrap booking supplies out.
I have quite a bit of stuff.
I was inspired by all the handmade cards I've been seeing online.
I purchased a few digital stamps from Saturated Canary.
Here are two cards that I made with one of the stamps I purchased.

and card #2....

I made matching envelopes for these.
These pictures aren't the best.
But, I was showing them off and managed to sell these two,
and I hadn't had a chance to take pictures in daylight.

Well, since I've been in a funk,
I decided I needed to make some changes.
I'm changing my work schedule and will be doing a different position.
Hopefully the shorter workdays will be better for me.
I won't have as many days off, but the change will be good for me.

Well, I hope you are all well.

Hugs

Your cards are sweet!
I think everyone goes through a "funk" now and again. This too shall pass.....
I find that it doesn't happen as often since we retired - when it does, I go for a walk or a bike ride, or when the weather is bad, I browse my photos and find some inspiration.
Hope the new schedule works.

Won't have done you any harm to take a break Ariane. A very sweet card indeed.

Sorry you've been in a funk, but even professionals need to step back to re-energize.

Love your cards. I too have been making some cards recently, but not as sweet as yours are. Thanks for the introduction to Saturated Canary. I'm off to check them out now.

Winter blues hit at a weird time this year, but there's nothing like being creative to help pull us out of them. Your cards are darling and great fun and now you're quilting again, too! Hurray!
